While it’s well known that stress and anxiety can lead to unpleasant dreams, many people don’t realize that what they eat before bed can also cause a nightmare!

A study recently published by the University of Montreal found that individuals who ate before bed were more likely to suffer from nightmares.

In general, a good rule of thumb is to avoid all food a few hours before bed. When you eat before bed, your body will have to digest it during your sleep. This can lead to less than optimal sleep and leave you feeling tired in the morning.
